  • SPECIALIST MEDICAL ONCOLOGIST

    The Riverina Cancer Care Centre (RCCC) is part of a Group of Cancer Care Facilities where holistic care is given in an environment that is designed to be as pleasant and as comfortable as possible.
    The RCCC is a comprehensive cancer care service located in the beautiful regional centre of Wagga Wagga, NSW, providing both medical and radiation Oncology. An exciting opportunity has become available to be a part of a progressive and highly professional team.

    Medical Oncology services are provided in a friendly, modern and very comfortable facility. In addition, the RCCC has a well-established Clinical Trials unit and Multidisciplinary Teams in the key areas of Urology, Breast, Upper GI, Lower GI and Lung cancers.

    This is a full-time position that offers flexibility, clinical trials involvement, potential for teaching appointments, together with both public and private hospital attachments to enhance your income.

    - FRACP membership
    - Current CME certification
    - AHPRA registration

  • REGISTERED NURSE
     
    The Riverina Cancer Care Centre is part of a group of cancer treatment facilities where holistic care is given in an environment that is designed to be as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. The philosophy of the Centre is to administer chemotherapy and associated treatments with minimal disruption to the patient’s normal routine.

    We have an opportunity to offer a Registered Nurse Year 2 & thereafter a full time time position as part of a highly skilled and dedicated team at our Wagga Wagga location. The successful applicant will be an integral member of a highly skilled clinical team and be responsible for providing high quality specialist care and treatment to our patients.

    You will be working closely with Medical Oncologists, Pharmacists and other Allied Health Practitioners. Your involvement with this multidisciplinary team will support you in providing exceptional care to your patients and their families.

    To be successful in this exciting and challenging position, you should meet the following criteria:

    - Be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
    - Strong commitment to quality patient care
    - Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse
    - Experience in Oncology is desirable
    - Must have cannulation experience/skills
    - Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills
    - Ability to work effectively as part of a high quality clinical team
